An Evening with Brian Robinson BEM

12 July, 2019 @ 8:30 pm

£6

Brian Robinson was the first British rider to make a mark and gain respect in the tough world of mid-20th century professional European cycling. With several Tour de France stage wins, including one of the biggest post war winning margins, an overall victory in the 1961 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré stage race and a 3rd in Milano-San Remo, Robinson paved the way for future legends such as Tom Simpson and Barry Hoban.

The evening will consist of film of Brian’s career, followed with a discussion session hosted by Nick Newby, and finally a brief audience Q&A session.

This is an absolute must for cycling and sports fans and a rare chance to meet a genuine sporting legend!

The bar will be open during this event.
